    I went along to support them today and it was absolutely brilliant.

    The fans are some of the best going they were in the ground singing well before 2 o'clock.

    Only went to Bootham Crescent once, when Clarke was manager. It was foggy & we played in an all white strip...

    York were always poorly supported. Most fans over there supported Leeds at the time. Not sure if Clarke was trying to rub it in.

    Pleased to see them promoted though.

    I went to an event in the main stand nearly twenty years ago, but it was the only proper stand, IIRC there was some terracing on the ends but no stand at all on the opposite side of the (rugby) pitch.
    I have to say it looks good now, and I hope to get there at some point.

    I’ve still got a few mates in York, mostly Leeds fans, with an ‘odd’ exception.
