Needs to be bans for going on the pitch. And not just secret bans but public naming and shaming.
Also needs to be public condemnation of bad behaviour much more regularly instead of ignoring it and then trotting out the 'our fans are brilliant' line that clubs do so often.
And lastly players should be stopped from rewarding these fans. Far too often a fan goes on the pitch and they get a shirt, a photo or high five from a player. It has to stop

Last thing FA will want to do is to put any form of fencing up as it reflects badly on them when they are bidding to host events.

In fairness I quite enjoyed seeing fans with nothing to celebrate not going on the pitch, too

My solution would be to let fans know, if there’s a mass invasion, the next match will be played behind closed doors.
While it’s great to celebrate on the pitch, the recent examples of violent behaviour means it’s time to play hard ball and put a stop to it.
If we really want to host world cups, then we have to change the mentality of football supporters.

Our fans often go on the pitch with nothing to celebrate but the end of the season!

Start with the ban for the trangressors, if that doesn't work then punish all the fsns!

Couldn’t they put the tarps over the front few seats like they did when we were at Wembley? Just made it awkward to jump over…
