Huddersfield. They finished higher and have the better form going in to the game. They have played at New Wembley before so it's not as alien to them. All the pressure is on Forest as Cooper will be expected to get them up as a big city club with the history they have had in the decades gone by. Keep Brennan Johnson quiet (can't believe we were linked to him once) and that's half the job done. Levi Colwill is a class centre half who Chelsea should be looking at giving game time to next season rather than loaning him out again.
Think Forest have a better team and look better on the eye-test. However, Huddersfield just seem to keep finding a way to win games. Seen em several times this season and no matter how poor they play they seem to scrape a win.
It would be nice to have a club go up and make a proper fist of it. That's why I want Forest to go up. I don't like Leeds but I thought with their backing and history it was just hierarchical structure that was keeping them from the top echelons. They haven't got anywhere near scaling the heights. Leicester winning the league was the only example since Forest in the seventies of a sleeping giant coming up and winning the top flight. Forest themselves and Newcastle managed a decent finishes in the mid nineties and Ipswich in 2001 were one season wonders but nothing since. It would be nice to see someone come up and threaten the top four.
I've always classed Forest as a big club. They've won the European Cup twice. How they're where they are now is a mystery to me.
Terriers for me, I work in Huddersfield and loads of my work mates are going to Wembley, they're a great bunch, so I'm hoping they have a successful trip.
Brian Clough. And to a big extent Peter Taylor his assistant. No one they've had since has come anywhere near management wise.
Logically, one would say Forest,I think they have been the highlight of the Championship, even more so than Fulham or Bournemouth. However, in the Play off final, logic goes out the window,I remember Hull beating SWFC about 4 years ago. SWFC had been the better team all season but froze on the day. So I will plump for Huddersfield but as I often say,I know nothing about football.
Forest I think. If Huddersfield can keep Johnson, Spence & Zinckernagel quiet, they might be in with a shout.
Watched them 3 times against us this season and not a lot in every game so forest probably to win but if Huddersfield watched sheff Utds 2nd leg performance and how they got in forests face Huddersfield might just do it because forest struggled
I think the club needs to be the right size. I class them as bigger than Wolves, Fulham, Bournemouth, Palace, Newcastle and Bournemouth. It's weird grew up listening to the Clough snippets and the side in 1994/95 with Collymore, Roy, Stone, Pearce, Woan and Crossley was an exceptional side.
