Course it is no other part of England has this problem ffs. The Chelsea fans that ran amok in Oaris a few years since attacking ordinary people going about their business were Scousers in disguise.
If you have a ticket you don’t climb over a fence to get in do you? It looks pretty clear to me these are fans without tickets seeing an opportunity to get in. They said earlier tonight that there could be well over 100,000 Liverpool supporters in Paris. Not sure how many are in the stadium, but that’s a lot of fans in Paris and around the stadium without tickets. Most fans travel without tickets to be in the bars and soak up the atmosphere. But there’s always going to be a few looking for spare tickets and hoping they get a chance to get in somehow.
There was a problem at Wembley when United played there in Champions League final - my mate and his girlfriend couldn't get in their seats as there were two fans for every seat - loads got in without tickets that day
Seeing we're going 'historically' , as I'm assuming certain quarters are referring to Hillsborough ( 43 years ago btw)... How's about other supporters "storming the gates"? Stoke at our place 89, Geordies 81, Wednesday 79 off the top of my head. Wembley v Italy a fine example! I'm led to believe the police were culpable for the horrific scenes at Hillsborough? I've been in situations where our own fans have turned up late, en masse, and forced gates open to get into a ground... Chester in the Cup 79 immediately springs to mind , Rotherham one year, Weds in 82ish amongst others.... Get a grip fgs! All this generalising is out of order!
How many time have I seen Barnsley fans do the exact same thing behind the brewery stand?.......................loads & loads. Not condoning anything minst.
There’s clearly a massive number of ticketless fans that have got into the stadium. Look at the exit routes at both ends. You can clearly see the gangways on the Real Madrid end, but at the Liverpool end you can’t see where the exit routes are at all, they’re filled with people.
But still not indicative of the fanbase at large. If thousands of Scousers naturally behaved like this every game, every game would be carnage. But they don't. Also, some people don't forget just can't handle their ale (or their Charlie).
Yep. But surely they didn’t have a ticket and we’re just trying to avoid paying at the old turnstiles?
I agree but it is still a repetitive stain, out of 3 euro finals this season this is the only one to have a delayed kick off.
Hopefully not as that would be discrimination. If anyone should be punished it should be Liverpool not every English side.
Which was wrong like Wimbledon punishing Russia and Belarus Tennis players because of the dictators running their countries.
