Sat on runway at East Midlands.........

    Airport was quiet, check In was smooth given there was only one girl doing all the check in, security was a total breeze.......all but one bar was open, gets on plane and a crew member had to leave due to being ill.......the captain come on the radio to say that they were scrambling to find a new crew member and if not it’d basically get cancelled........fast forward 45 mins and a new member has said they’ll make there way to the airport......the cheers on the plane were great but my little girls face was priceless when she turned up to look at me that we were going to be able to go on holiday.........fair brought a tear to my eye tbh

    I said to the captain she’ll probably get a good tip :D a feel for the staff members who are trying to help people get away.......it’s kinda hit home tonight what a mess this industry is in all through a big smile from my daughter...........:(

    Lindos is where we are heading, got married there 13 year ago so going back to coincide with our anniversary too
