season starts 30th july, expect whoever new gaffa given at least 6 weeks before kick off , more if he wants to convince anyone to stay (if club allows) so clock ticking
I think its interesting how this vote is going. Winning is none of the already mentioned managers who are at the top of the betting.
Bloke at work said former Wednesday boss Luhukay was one of the people interviewed- I sincerely hope not.
Definitely need someone to make us better at set pieces both forward and defence. Also would be good for young decent loans I suspect. I would not be against this appointment. Ed. But Warnock would still be my number 1, just to drag the club back together
Doug reports Khaled says he has spoken to Warnock and will do so again. Duff and JFH are under consideration. Five candidates in all - all British-based. McCarthy has turned the prospect down, and Devaney is not on the list.
Given what an absolute mess Man Utd are in, what exactly has he been coaching them in? How not to defend? No thanks. I’d take Collin in heart beat, if he got the job I’d renew tomorrow.
Because it works like that. He was part of the same set up as Carrick and McKenna that's done well at Ipswich at 47.8% WP.
I’d love it to be Warnock but fear there will be issues around wages, signings, extent of his role. Get him appointed, give him some money to spend and let him get on with getting us promoted. If anybody can it’s him.
If it's Warnock. It needs to be a job while ever he wants it and to get to the Premiership. Setting sights at League 1 won't attract him. Disappointed McCarthy has turned the opportunity down. He was my second choice after Warnock. So if it isn't Warnock now I'll be a bit gutted.
I’m pretty sure IF Warnock was to get the role then all his requests would have been discussed and an agreement would have been made where both parties would be happy, we all know he would demand a certain calibre of player so it’s not like we would go in to this blindly nor would he risk himself without any assurances. Would be interesting to see how our odds would change at the bookies that’s for sure
Eric Ramsey is a specialist in messing around with it at the back. Something which works with world class players at a top club but will always be an absolute disaster with Sunday league calibre players at Barnsley.
