I think the England players couldn't play and concentrate enough today. Mostly because they were too busy laughing their ar*ses off at the idea of Callum Styles being a Hungarian international player. Nahh then, wheres mi bowl of ghoulash for tea.
But of course, we're talking to a Scotch expert here aren't we lol. And what exactly was wrong/incorrect by the way, on that McJock v Ukraine thread ?.
What are you on about kid. And was I the only England fan on here who was taking the mick, on that thread.
One of our own is an international footballer, and yet we're taking the piss out of him. Very classy.
Im all for our players playing international football, but its just weird thinking of Styles playing for a foreign country. When in his lifetime, hes surely been no more Hungarian than any of us on here.
I think thats a ridiculous rule though, where you can play for a grand parents country, or is it also a great grand parents country ?. Mick Mac for example, Barnsley/Yorkshire/England born and bred, and not a bit of Oirish in him. But he played for them because of parents or grand parents, and got to follow an ambition of playing in International tournaments. And Jacob McBrown for example, how far back do his connections with Scotchland go ?.
I know, but I suppose my question refers to the refs decision to implement the penalty rule to the enth degree, ie: the tiniest of touches from the defender deemed to be a pen, but not being anywhere near as fastidious in the taking of the penalty. At least 2 Hungarian players were in the box before the ball was kicked. It just pissed me off to be honest.
