I'd love him back and don't need to rewrite history to back up my opinion. However, I don't think he will return.

Would Stendel want to come back? That's a question. Maybe now Conman and Lee aren't in the frame.

I just think it'd bring a bit of feel good factor back to the club. Come on Daniel!

You'd give Morais a go but not Stendel. You say we were defensively crap despite conceding the fewest goals in the division.

Are you being serious when making these points?

There is no doubt DS dropped on with a strong squad that was retained after relegation however you would have to be crazy to deny that we played brilliant football that promotion season, full on, never say die, always on the front foot, always looking for goals. The passion and connection with the fans was very rare. It was a brilliant season.
Was the second season a naive coach who failed to adapt to a higher league or the failings of a board that didn’t back him with experience?! I would be excited by his return

    Best defense in the division.

    Most clean sheets.

    Least goals conceded.

    Thrilling, attacking football.

Yet the resident toolbox reckons we were lucky.

Nice one Hemsworth, you weird little boy.

Stendel being sacked was the catalyst for half our fans turning their backs on Conway and co. We realised they were out of their depth and their "spreadsheet system" was a farce. The Championship teaches you a lot about yourself as a football person, it's just a case of whether you're humble enough to heed those lessons. Conway wasn't and Barnsley ultimately suffered

Mads, Wilkes, Thomas, Odour, Halme, none of them were ready to give us a stable championship team which left us looking very fragile. Credit to Stendel that he kept playing his way, he just didn't have the tools to do it.

Stendel definitely not for me. done nothing since leaving us. In my earlier post I said I would like to see Nigel Clough, surprised he has not been mentioned.
My next choice was for Neil Warnock, as his experience would cetainly benefit us and get us back into the Championship.
Let's up we can bring in one of the names being mentioned and soon, otherwise it's back to the cheaper option as usual.

I’d rather have Struber back, think he was seriously underrated by many supporters.

One of them due to Stendel

Whoever we get is a gamble but Clough or Warnock does seem to be an ideal steady the ship option.
