Sorry Helen - don`t have a Facebook account.
Any chance of a different way of viewing?

Good to see. The level of litter everywhere is shocking and I don't recall it ever being so bad.

Hopefully BFC can soon play a part in reducing it's environmental impact in terms of packaging and waste too.

We were recently in Croatia. The contrast with this country was night and day. Never witnessed even a scrap of litter. Got back from the airport to witness a moron throwing his empty coke can through his car window on Dodworth High Street. Probably being judgmental, but I couldn’t help myself thinking that this was possibly one of the country’s self-professed ‘patriots’.

I don't know if you've ever been to Luxembourg. The most spotlessly clean and tidy place I've ever been. I'm sure they must steam clean it while people sleep!

Not been to Luxembourg, but have visited virtually every other European country. I’m not sure there is anywhere quite like here (if you get my drift!).

There are worse places. Indonesia is heart breaking. On many of the islands they have no community waste services (or no mains power and water). Rubbish is either burnt (including plastic) or just thrown, generally entering the gullies and rivers and ending up in the ocean. Such a beautiful beautiful country but being destroyed by rubbish. Even more cruel that we send our rubbish there to be out of sight and mind.
