If that is the case, you'd expect at least one of our keepers to be on the move.

Yeah, I guess that's inevitable anyway. Either Collins will get a move back to the championship, or Walton will move for regular game time.

Collins was one of the few players who had a decent season he will be off.

Not sure he will. How many teams need a keeper? They're ten a penny as seen by ys having Collins and Walton.

I find it odd that the only professional game he has played is for the New Zealand national team.

Not disputing that. My comment was based on most teams already having decent keepers. When budgets are spent I think most teams look to outfield players rather than goalkeepers. Might be wrong but who's shopping list would you expect Collins to be on.

I agree, particularly with first choice keepers. Adam Davies for example could have walked into the starting 11 of most championship sides, but found himself as 3rd choice at Stoke. You'd like to think Collins will only make a move if he feels he's going to be playing regularly.

I must admit, it wouldn't surprise me if Collins was still here next season and Walton went in search of game time. But anything could happen. As long as we get the wage bill in line and secure our immediate future, whoever we're left with is whoever we're left with.

I've assumed he is joining the first team with the way the story is worded.

Collins could be on his way out. Walton shipped a ton of goals in the last month when he had his chance, which is worrying.

Also, remember Jinadu was part of the First Team squad for most of last season too.

To me that looks like we are planning to lose at least one of Collins and Walton - we dont need an international goalie as 3rd choice keeper

Well I hope it's Collins that we keep.

Walton is a pretty good shot stopper but his kicking is shocking, his radar in throwing it out for a counter attack is completely absent, and his cross taking is shaky too.

He can't sweep as well as Collins, if that is what we might require under the new coach.

Collins and Walton are not on the same level.

Let's not forget Scott Wiseman is a international footballer. Its not always the accolade it appears to be.

Hopefully it's Collins staying and Walton going. Searle is a full international so not coming to be behind them both.

Can see Collins going to any of the clubs promoted from L1, we were bottom by a mile, but 4 teams conceded more than us, our issue was we couldn't score. He'd double his wages at least at 2 of the 3 and I'm sure some bottom half of Championship clubs would do the same. He'll go where the money is, a footballers career is short and fickle.

You're right, but I'll miss Walton. It's a shame we had a decent player come through who want a centre-back or right back for once!
