Don't matter how crap we all believe he is, it's nailed on he'll score the winner against us at least once next season if he moves there.

Also against Derby being as he has scored 25 % of his entire league career goals against them ( 2 ) .

The player as abundance of work rate .
He's just not cut out to scoring goals which is imperative to be a striker.

Not really woodrow scored 4 goals in 28 games 1 been a pen vic scored 3 in 26 games.. suppose it shows jow bad of a season cauley had aswell hopefully he shows some sort of form next season.

To be honest i think both cpuld be usefull in league one its schmidt who we paid over 1million for id be looking to offload especially after his poor return in the poor league he played in last season.

Tbf I reckon even Oulare could match Victor's goal tally if he played same number if games

Just look back through your list of posts and see how far you have to go back to find one where you said something constructive or positive.
And yes, he's not good enough. But he's done his best and doesn't deserve throw away insults from folk who just like shooting their mouth off.

To be honest Vic has not scored 10 goals in his whole career which for a striker is awful, comparing him to Woodrow & his record take some doing, I hope Vic leaves but wish him well & maybe a move will kick start his career

I would imagine Pompey will be looking to be in the playoffs as a minimum come the end of the season. For the life of me, I can’t see what he would offer them & even more amazed that they’d even have the slightest interest in him.

Clubs will be looking at the past 18 months of scoring and based on that its pretty bleak for all our strikers apart from morris.

Shocking record. Played 6 games for soham town rangers and scored 1 in like 9th or 10th tier. If you cant get a goal a game in that league as a striker playing last season in championship u r buggered

Difference is, Woodrow has had very good seasons in the years previous. A lot of quality players have off-seasons. For what it's worth, personally if Vic stayed I wouldn't be too disappointed. Don't think he will cost a lot in wages, and should be a decent enough squad player. Bringing him on to close out games, work hard and hold the ball for the latter minutes of the match. Personally, I don't think he's championship quality at all, but in my opinion should be decent for 20 minutes ina league one match

I will say he's one of those players you *wish* was good, bit like Frieser. Hard worker, willing, committed and humble. Just willing him to do better because he's so likable. I think Vic could have a decent league 1/2 career

I agree with a lot of what you say , however history suggests that when Vic played at a lower level with Cambridge & Bristol rovers he failed miserably so there is no evidence that he will do a a job for us in division 1 , as likeable as the lad is , how long do we keep investing in a player without getting any return ? he is no longer learning his trade & he is in his mid twenties , for me it is time for a parting of the ways & let such as Aiden Marsh have the opportunities .

I can agree with that, I wouldn't want Vic staying at the expense of game time for Marsh. I just meant I wouldn't be opposed to him staying as a squad player, injuries, fatigue, whatever the reason.

I don’t go with this These **** season mantra posts that Woodrow is accused of having. They also seem largely to put it solely down to him. He was constantly played out of position and although working his socks off irrespective of what type of game he is having and he was often accused of being uncaring and idle. Eventually, I do believe it got to him and his form suffered, then he got the bad injury. Just to say he was poor, uncaring and idle is inaccurate, unfair and disrespectful. We all have our opinions, but those that knock him like to omit the aforementioned facts. I really hope he’s still here next season and our new coach has him firing on all cylinders
