    Who could have known that the supply bottlenecks caused by irrational lockdowns while unnecessarily and uncontrollably creating trillions of money supply would lead to runaway inflation, global recession and widespread consumer distrust.
    You can't blame qny union or worker for fighting for higher wages.

    When everyone was asking for and getting financial support during Covid it was blindingly obvious that it had to be paid back someway.

    I was fortunate to work through Covid and covered the extra work my colleagues couldnt do sat at home.

    These strikes give the economy less chance of getting back on track and starting to lower the cost of living and inflation. We all know that the general way to lower inflation is generally by increasing interest rates, which in turn affects the working person just as much as price rises but you can control what you buy you cant control your mortgage payments.

    If all the rich people hand over their money all poor and working class people will be better off and the cost of living will improve.

    Just print more money, stop helping other countries, Premier league footballers and infact all high earners cap thier wages to £1000 per week. Give away their big homes to the homeless and poor people.

    Most high earners generate work and money for others to live thats a fact.

    I better get an 11% pay rise aswell or Im on strike, lets all go on strike.

    The only way through this is for everyone to work hard and live efficently not to excess.

    I dont know the solutions but i can see what doesnt help. No abuse please im suffering with this like everyone else.

    If you change it to some high earners I’d agree but not all

    When workers are having their wages cut in real terms year on year and see the rich bosses giving themselves big pay rises sooner or later they have had enough

    The thing which some are missing here is the Government wants a strike they have forbidden the train operators from talking to the unions. All they care about is stoking the wars against enemies Foreigner’s immigrants trade unions as a dead cat to blame for the fact that due to their incompetence we are almost all far worse off than we were when they came to power

    People striking to get a pay rise in line with inflation are not, and never will be, the problem

    Strike action is always a last call. But left with no option, it is a right to do so. How else would you get employers to listen, When they are intransigent. Maybe you should aim some of your anger at them. As I posted on another thread, Trying and creating a divide between the working class has always been a Tory tactic. While they live in a different world and look after those who are in less need.

    Imagine being that much of a heartless tw*t that your response to homelessness is to try to make their lives more difficult than to address the underlying causes and help them. There will be people on here who voted for him, and they should feel ashamed.

    Folk who are affected are directing their anger and frustrating at the wrong place.
