They do need some ex reds after slacking with it for a little bit recently.

I’d prefer to keep Cauley but wouldn’t be surprised if he does move to a championship club. I can’t see us raking in a decent transfer fee given it’s Luton and there’s the Fulham sell on clause but I guess we will save on the wages.

Have to wait and see I suppose.

    Cheerio.

Thanks for all the memories. Had a torrid season last year and couldn’t really see what he brought to the team anymore.

Makes a lot of sense for all really. He is a southerner too so chance to go back down south and a move to a side in league above so not selling to a rival. Good luck to him, wasn't a good season for him last year, but been a good servant to club during his time.

Probably best for both him and us. Been in poor form last 18 months and really struggled so doubt we will get a decent fee but a top earner off the wage bill. Hopefully we can keep morris.

Imo he’d fit into the current Luton team and set up .
Last two seasons our formations and team selection haven’t suited Cauley and I think it could restart his form .
Will miss his penalty taking as well tbh as I think we’ll get a few this season :)

Don't ask a dog what that journalist is called, as dogs can't say Mike McGrath.

The bright lights of living in Luton is too much to turn down.

Makes sense. I'll be sad to see him go but needs must.

£400k a year off the wage bill (heard he was on 8k a week?) and hope we get a good fee.

He as been a good pro for us .
Sadly played out of position but be nice for him to kick start his career without going to S6 to do it.
His wages 8k a week is too much for a 3rd tier team ,so makes sense to all his 50% sell on to Fullham won't be a massive amount in return .
However will have been good business having him around.
Been a great mentor for young Marshy too .

    Agree with that.

By far my favourite player for us and I'll be very sad to see him go. He deserves to be playing in the championship and if it's Luton he ends up, they've got themselves a very good player if they can utilise him properly.

Makes perfect sense. Salary frees wages up for at least 2, maybe even 3 League 1 players

Aren't any salary figures quoted in this thread subject to whether or not his contract includes a relegation reduction percentage?

It'll be a real shame to see Cauley go. Our top scorer since Bruce Dyer isn't he? When did we last have someone score 15-20 and hang around afterwards? Hero.

The way some fans have given him stick is crazy. What does a guy have to do to not get slagged off lol

Does your colleague's friend have nothing better to do with their time? Are they like, really bored?

I've never met him. Just passing on that 2 hours ago I was told that on Friday he completely made up a transfer of Woodrow to Luton, it was picked up and retweeted by supposedly 'proper' journalists and here we are with it posted on the BBS.

It's a shame to see him go. Last time in League 1 him and Moore were deadly and would have both got 30 goals a piece barring injury. Him and Morris could have done the same under a decent Head Coach.

You'd hope we have someone lined up.
