Love the Open Day, think it reminds me of being a little kid and the Ora goodies being flung left, right and centre off the stage. I used to come home with tons of pens, sweets, mouse mats and hats!

Mouse mats? They didn't have mouse mats when I was a lad. It was a crappy rubber and a pencil if you were lucky

Not normally one for attending. But I might give this one a go. And take the grandkids. If they're available.

I was thinking that. Got no interest in the funfair or meeting the players or anything like that but wouldn't mind watching the under 18s and the women's teams then the first team too

Not sure I could go that far. The girls are only 5 and 8. No chance of em seeing all three without leading me a merry dance. Younger one I could probably get a half hrs interest. So it's either u18s or first team.
    Edit
Now you've said it. I've never taken a womens game in. So I could go for just that. Given its timing n'all.
I won't get away with not doing the funfair. Lol.

They were lethal when they came flying at your head! They were also proper massive. I got about 5 of them because no-one else wanted them. When I got home I discovered I didn't really want them either and put them in a drawer.

Edit: Remember when it was VK? They gave out loads of energy drinks. My brother and I collected loads (wouldn't be allowed now) and then when I tried them they were disgusting. I've never liked energy drinks since.

Do the woman's match! I'd have loved to have seen a woman's match on a proper pitch as a little 'un.

Looks good. Naturally it’s on the one ‘kin weekend of the summer that I’m not here.

Sounds like a really good day. Like the idea of combining it with the 3 matches. Will see if I can get my 7 year old down for a few hours to at least enjoy the kids stuff. Would be nice if it sparked an interest :)
