It's free to view. You don't pay anything for an iFollow account - you just need to sign up/in.

Just a heads up whilst on topic - everything went free when COVID landed, but sooner or later we'll be having to move some content back behind the paywall.

Whatever is decided, we'll make sure to communicate it effectively.

I really enjoyed that but I don't know if its an age thing or what but I didn't recognise half the players.

We need to raise some revenue.

It’s a subscription platform, a fiver a month or whatever it is. But once COVID landed, we tried to make everything that we could, free to view. This caused people to unsubscribe over the last couple of years, as one of the main reasons people did pay for it, was the audio commentary. But with everyone watching streams, legally or otherwise, the number of subscribers reduced dramatically.

If our department is to grow, if we are to afford equipment and potentially, keep our jobs, then we need to rebuild that revenue stream back up. So it’s up to us to create more content than ever, and make that fiver a month worthwhile I guess.

I’d imagine the usual highlight packages and press pieces will remain free to view in some fashion. But exclusive interviews, behind the scenes content (whatever replaces the Recap potentially), and anything else we dream up, will go behind the paywall.

Relegation put paid to our plans to move away from the EFL’s platform, for now. But the plan to have everything in-house, under our banner, it’s still ongoing. We still want - at least - a proper BFC app for example. Lots of ideas and discussions going on, but there’s going to be a concerted effort to massively increase video content this season.

I hope people notice an improvement and get back to subscribing. There’s already a lot more on ifollow since pre-season began. More than the majority of EFL clubs at least. But still free, for now.

I doubt we’ll be able to stop folk illegally watching the matches but it’s unhelpful for our department as it’s lost revenue to us. I understand it though and I totally appreciate the current climate.

Felt it was appropriate to give folk a heads up whilst the topic was raised.

If the re-caps went back to the old 10 to 15 minute format with the goals shown from all the numerous angles, I'd pay a fiver.

Sorreee Whitey. But my response was meant to be a witty retort regarding you communicating effectively in future. I added a smiley before I posted but they allus seem to disappear. Mindst you some may have appreciated the info.
