    Good striker but frustrating at times. Always raised his game when it suited. Local derbies etc.

    Sollbauer for me vastly overrated as a player, but we were given an experienced player to love after crying out for experience. Probably gave more to club and other players in training and just being around the place than on the pitch.

    I know I shall be in a minority but that`s my opinion.

    Underrated Alex Mowatt.for me, just shows players need time like Benson/ Kane maybe others.

    Problem with Mowatt was people were expecting the Mowatt from Leeds that worked into shooting positions and scored goals. There was much more to his game than that. He was expected to replace Hourihane like for like but in my view he was a better all round player.

    I like Sollbauer, but he's just a solid player. And a good organiser. I have no problem with him, but he's just OK. When he left there were posts comparing him favourably with some of the best centre halves we've ever had. So I would agree, even though I like him, he was overrated.

    Goes to show overrated doesn't necessarily mean you're criticising the player. It's questioning the opinion of others I guess.

    Scored a few important goals but didn’t deserve the adulation in my opinion . The two things that summed him up for me were when he left his boots on the coach against Southend and came out in his flip flops 10 minutes before kick off to get them . His lack of interest in a lot of games and particularly in the warm up , it was said he had a bad back and that’s why he didn’t do half the exercises but when he was on loan at Blackpool from QPR he came running out like Usain Bolt and put more effort into the warm than a full 90 minutes for us

    Completely forgot about him!! I don't think there were many barnsley fans at all rating Mido, Lita, Treacy, Frimpong, McNulty and Kiwomya really were there? Felt abit sorry for Hume as well, I know he wasn't a world beater before the Morgan incident but would have been nice to see how he fared for us during his time here without that happening!
