    Ardsley had
    Gary Pierce
    Alistair Millar
    Derek Bell
    John Macdonald
    Ronnie Glavin
    Tommy Graham
    Les Lea
And possibly a few more so saying that players have never settled in Barnsley was a bit of a nonsense by DB.

    Didn't know about ali Millar.
Johnny Evan's lived next to les Lea.
Bobby doyle used to come and play tennis with us. Mike Pickering used to be with him but I don't know if he lived in Ardsley.
Ronnie Glavin lived in the bungalow at the back of ours.
Derek bell used to be in the coach and horses very regularly including afternoon. Alan Clarke wasn't happy after someone tipped him off.
Jonny parkin has lived in Ardsley most of his life.
