Can only what everyone has said. Met him briefly once when Look North did a feature on local bands in the 90's.
RIP Harry The earth plane will be a sadder place without his presence...fly high Condolences to all his family
Such sad news. RIP Harry. Not long since retired. Condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues
That's a brilliant piece from Look North. Maybe we will be doing it again this season. Wembley double-double
Look North was staple viewing after your tea growing up in the 80s and 90s and Harry was like a mate regaling tales of what happened in your area that day. Sad day.
Sad news only met him once at Leeds Airport , we were going on a lads golf holiday , he was with his partner , had a chat and a laugh with him RIP
Well I’m glad you’ve posted that because the ‘I’m buzzing’ bloke is my dad stood with my mum. Harry found it hilarious and had a few jokes on the show about ‘I’m buzzing’. When we went back to Wembley for the play off final, I ended up in a Twitter conversation with Harry and we agreed to meet up before the game outside Wembley so he could have my dad back on the tele. He was genuinely a fantastic bloke and wanted to get the real fans view. RIP Harry Gration.
Shows the love for him that so many local clubs have said lovely words about him. Only Hull and Wednesday I can't see a tweet by from the local professional clubs. If there was a Yorkshire hall of fame he would be a candidate.
Yeah it was great viewing after we’d won that trophy and your Dad was Brilliant . My two Grandsons were on carrying the Reds at Wembley Sithi flag near the beginning . Edit That should be “Tykes at Wembley Sithi”
RIP Harry owns lad. Always a good listen who knew his stuff, and came across as a thoroughly decent bloke.
