Fairly simple equation now - win 1 of the last 2 and go through, win both and guarantee a home QF.

Well that performance might be better than any Dani Daniels NSFW video I have seen. One foot in the quarters hopefully.

They've always been banging on about the run rate though?

I have always thought the league position were decided on NRR if level points.

If it was based on games won, then Derbyshire would be ahead of Lancs.

16.11.4 The tie-breakers for teams finishing on equal points will be:

16.11.4.1 The team with the higher net run rate in the Group Matches will be placed in the higher position.

16.11.4.2 The team that has scored most points in matches between teams finishing on equal points provided that all tied teams have played each other the same number of times (note that if this only separates one team when more than two teams are considered by this tiebreaker, only the remaining teams move to the next tiebreaker).

16.11.4.3 Wicket-taking strike rate (number of balls bowled per wicket taken)

16.11.4.4 In the event that teams cannot be separated by 16.11.4.1 to 16.11.4.3 above, this will be done by drawing lots.

    Ta for that….
I would have thought the likelihood of 2 teams having the same net run rate would be very high odds

Strong side that. Win and we make the quarter finals. Need to try and win both games though and get a home quarter final next week.

Given the England ODI and T20 teams announced this morning we will struggle to put a team together for the QF if we get there. The words I have for the ECB and their wilful destruction of the Blast wouldn't pass the swear filter, sadly.

Unless something changes, even if we qualify, it seems that Malan, Allen, Root, Bairstow, Brook, Willey, Rashid, Fisher, Coad and Leech (what a team!) will be missing.

I know it’s a congested fixture list but Root and Bairstow should be available for QF as they’re not in T20i squad but they may get told to “rest” by ECB.
Have I got that right ?

Yes, JR and JB aren't in the T20 so could be released to Yorkshire if we get to the QF but you can bet your bottom dollar they won't be!

Play due to start at 7.05pm after rain delay. Yorkshire win toss and will bowl first.
