REDS TAKE ON FOREST ON OPEN DAY Fixture News We can confirm that the Reds will take on Premier League opposition in newly-promoted Nottingham Forest on Saturday 16 July. Continue reading on the official site...
Unrestricted seating or will season ticket holders be able to sit in their league seat? It's been pretty common knowledge on the BBS it was going to be Forest for a few weeks now.
Directly quoted from the article..... "Tickets will go on sale shortly and further details will be communicated."
Yes tickets will go on sale shortly for non season ticket holders at the prices in the article. Tickets don't need to go on sale for season ticket holders as we should be able to get in with our season ticket card.
They might think it's on a Wednesday like we've put here. https://www.facebook.com/8262344658...ygz46J9mvj29nUYnBnyXZoZHBnVRgFtnDL1UtGre4QUl/
Thats a good fixture for us, against Notts Florist. And we will surely learn more against teams like them and Sheff Ure, rather than Worksop and Harrogate.
All the early games are purely about fitness so it does not matter you play & the results are insignificant although some fans hang on every result , run outs just before the season starts have more purpose
Whilst I agree it is mainly about fitness, winning games gives the team confidence. Getting hammered does more harm than good I would imagine.
https://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/2022/july/06/b/ I thought we were skint? Why we not letting them sell every seat possible? They would easily sell out that end if allowed to for a nice little earner.
The only time they've ever filled that stand was their first season back up from L1 and it was a fiver a ticket. I highly doubt they'd do the same for a friendly and I suspect they requested a lower allocation.
First Saturday friendly they can go to. Not far to travel. Tenner to get in. Just promoted to the top flight. Ready to see a game after over a month without one. They have so many people wanting to watch them they have to try and make the ground bigger. Friendlies might be the only chance a lot of fans get to watch them next season.
6 friendlies. 2 games at burton. 2 games at notts county ( 1 at each classed as home games. not using the forest ground at all ) 2 away. They're not going to be spoilt for choice. Barnsley 5:30 on a satdy neet . Can't see em selling that allocation tbf. I haven't made mi mind up for that one, being a 5:30 ko.
All fair points. I just can't see them bringing that much personally. I do find it odd that it's advertised as 'full allocation' though. And agree we could just offer the actual full amount of 4500. Or 6000 lol.
