In my opinion Barnsley town centre looked far better when I was growing up, in the 50s and early 60s, when the town still had its large open market and before the heart was ripped out of it.

The last election wasnt a general election was just a brexit election. So many northern seats went to them which normally would not. Them seata will no doubt go back red next time. The 3 or 4 by elections since tories lost the lot good news.

 

In ten years they’ve savaged the NHS to the point lots people are dying unnecessary from treatable illnesses/disease .
I speak to people in the Town who openly voted Tory so they’ll be plenty imo that won’t own up but have .
The dismantling of the NHS hadn’t just crept up it’s been warned about in the media or by other political party’s but most importantly by users or relatives of users etc .
But yet election after election with all the warnings snd blatant policies they still get in .
The irony of this is some of these I speak to who voted Tory sre themselves users and complain .
Inside I just think WTAF can't you see the irony ? Your voting Tory because you don’t like Corbyn (which can’t be true on every election since 2010) or you want Brexit etc it the life line some of them need is being systematically driven away from their reach .
I know that these voting Tory in Tarn didn’t make a difference here but they must be typical of some red wall voters turning Tory and marginal areas .
Ever since I was young I’ve learned never trust the Tory’s on the NHS as they’d deny anyone if a profit could be made .
I don’t think serves yourself reight for voting Tory that your not getting an appointment or urgent/ non urgent surgery etc but it just makes me mad that they put these services and the people who work in them last when voting these selfish ******** of a party/ ideology.
