Anyone from BBS go along? If so what was it like? Can't imagine there was a huge turnout from fans given fact it was during working/school hours etc.
Really strange there's no announcement given he's openly working for us. Unless he's working his notice or has other issues to resolve over t'pond?
I went along this morning to the open session. We were welcomed to the session and greeted by the CEO saying it was intended to build links between the fans and club. We then moved along the side of the pitch and watched the players do exercises to build up personal fitness and some tactical work which we were told not to film( not that anybody did) At the end of the morning fans were able to get autographs and selfies with the players and training staff. All the squad were present but some only did individual work with the physio. The new trainer put the players through their paces and certainly expressed his ideas forcibly if the players did not follow his instructions, explaining what he wanted of them.
thanks for that. I know you said 'all the squad were present', but just to check, were styles and adeboyejo there?
New assistant is definitely Martin Paterson ex Burnley striker, if its not him hes got a twin with same initials
If he is working his notice then presumably he is working for us for free until his official contract can start. I’m not 100% sure how the legal side works but I think that’s the case? If so then it shows his dedication to the cause or maybe the club will increase his signing fee to cover any unpaid work.
…also, got it be good for us to have a former stricker as a coach, we certainly need the help in that department
Bet his misses was delighted all that upheaval to move to the states then 7 month later move to barnsley
