But if their crowds hold up, they'll have more income than anyone else in League 1.

Now he would be the box office signing we were once promised
What a statement of intent that would send out from the board ..not only to the fans but to the league it's self .his experience let alone his presence in that midfield would speak volumes ....if only

I'd be happy with Kane, Benson and Connell with Oduor on the left and Thomas on the right. It's that left wing back position that needs sorting. Hopefully if we sign Nicky Cadden it will be looking good.

Think Derby also works in that he probably doesn’t need to move home from wherever he was based in the midlands I guess too.

He will easily be the best midfielder in the division. It would have been nice for us to ask the question. Given the wages cap on L1 and them just exiting Admin you wouldn’t think the wages were astronomical

Without sounding a dik towards you mate, but how often have you seen connell play? And if Oduor is as poor as he has been for us, no consistency either, and Benson hasn't really proved he's up to it still (although I think he will be in time), what's really to suggest you'd be happy with this? Not saying it wouldn't work obviously but I think being happy might be a bit of a stretch based on what we already know

Reminds me of that Harry Enfield sketch asking if you'd be happy if you'd won lottery. Anyway, no offence taken. Few weeks left now. I'm excited by new players signed and new head coach. I also rate the players I have seen.

They have an agreed business plan in place with the EFL.
If that plan allows for club coming out of administration and in effect not paying previous monies owed to pay players in L1 a weekly wage of 10K or more (really should be £5k), then the EFL really should be taken to task as being unfit for purpose in this regard.

Conor should be playing at least championship football I’d say. They must be paying him a fair wedge.

I’m not sure they should still be in the league, let alone signing players like this.

Didnt the wages cap in league one get scrapped? Or is it still in place genuine question i thought that had gone.

Could work out really good signing conor but i definitely think he is a player on the decline. I thought the experienced will grigg would be on fire when sunderland paid 4million for him but that didnt happen... funny game football.

So how can Derby do it then, they weren't even able to sell season tickets before the takeover went through?

Don’t know is honest answer, maybe based on previous year(?).
I believe there is some sort of exemption/relief for relegated teams.
