Wheres Neerav or the cryne family with comments.

It's like the Tories. Send the weakest one out on BBC at 7AM to get slaughted.

What was it again. Good fee or 1 year left on contract of which Morris doesn't with the 1 plus 1 in clubs option.

As bland and uninformative as you could get. Even when we've backed them with our hard-pressed cash and by far our best player leaves they treat supporters with contempt.

Definitely one that I'd hoped we would keep. Ah well, new heroes and all that. Good luck Carlton.

If we have got anything close to the 2m quoted, then would be impossible to turn down.

Might've been different had decent offers come in early for Styles and Helik, but doesn't seem to have happened.

Undisclosed fee but it’s Luton so we know it’s a poor fee as they can’t pay good fees with the income they generate.

Gutted to be honest. The only quality attacking player we had.

I can see how we cope with the departures of players like Helik & Styles but he’s a lot harder to replace.

I wish I didn’t renew to be honest.

Have we even given up with the interest in his future now?

Got a feeling the Styles to Notts Forest transfer may well be announced either just before or just after the friendly to give us chance to give him a send off.

"Thank you again, and I wish you all nothing but the best going forward.

That might be more of a problem now that you have left us, old son.
But nonetheless, good luck with your new club and thanks for your time with us.

Never saw that coming... has it been quoted as breaking lutons transfer record which i think is only 1.5million?

Two things I got from that statement
    1) They couldn’t have picked a worse picture of him.
    2) He was the one looking to leave

Just been on their website and no.
Jones describes it as sending a statement out and believes they now have the best forward line in the Championship

Well it will be less than 1.5million then otherwise it would be quoted as breaking their transfer record. We do it everytime 1 year plus 1 in the clubs favour and we roll over and have our bellys tickled.

If he was looking to leave and we didnt have to sell surely luton would have broken their transfer record for him.

I am judging them by their actions.

They are selling assets to make sure the club doesn’t go under. Exactly as they said they would.

I’m not sure why anyone is that surprised or upset. It ought to be patently clear that any saleable asset is for sale until such time as the books are close to being balanced.

Styles, Helik and I’d say Collins are all under the hammer.

Does that improve the team? No. It does allow a foundation from which to build though. It had got that bad that it had to be stripped back that far.

    Some facts....

    1) He was playing for a team that finished bottom below multiple teams that had points deductions.

    2) He played 28 league games last season so missed around a third of the season which is a fair chunk.

    3) He scored seven league goals last season so over a full season might just sneak into double figures.

So if the deal is worth two million I reckon making around ten times what we paid for someone who's around a ten goals a season man while missing over a dozen games is good business.

Let's find a new hero to bang them in who will be available for 40+ league games a season.

I'm sure Carlton wanted to leave he will be guaranteed championship football, keeps himself in a bigger shop window, probably offered more wages, I would suspect that the transfer fee will offset some of our losses.
    Good luck to him.
    We'll sign new heroes.
