I think. Hard to tell through Google translate. https://www.meczyki.pl/newsy/nowy-k...ferze-reprezentanta-polski-nasz-news/191614-n
It seems to say theyve been in contact with us about him but that he also has offers from 3 other countries.
Tbf Helik is one we can afford to let go. We have loads of other CBs. Granted he's the best of the lot but he was never likely to stay anyway. We have ample cover in that position at least. They need to sign a striker asap though that's for sure.
Aye, we've brought McCarthy and Cundy in to prepare for departures in that area. I can't see Kitching or Moon moving on, and to be honest, I don't see Andersen leaving anymore either. If you factor Jordan Williams in too, who for me has played his best football for us in a back 3, and we're covered for options. Left wing back remains a priority, as does up front, where we look very suspect.
We also have Sraha coming through as another left footed option as back up to Kitching. We have plenty of CB options now. LWB and striker are the massive weaknesses currently as you say. Cadden (if he signs) solves one of those issues. That just leaves us desperate for a striker or two
I forgot about Sraha. We've certainly got depth in that area, because apart from maybe one or two going out on loan, I don't see any of the centre halves leaving.
He looks good too from the few appearances I have seen from him too. Most certainly the strongest area of our squad currently I think.
I only saw him play against Preston, but I certainly thought he looked half decent, albeit a bit raw. He might benefit from a season on loan in league 2, but I wouldn't be against him being used as a squad player for the first team at all. As you say, it's potentially a strong area of the squad, permitting Cundy and McCarthy are decent.
The pound against yhe euro looks like its had a small rise 1.18 i went away couple months back and was getting 1.15 then dropped to 1.14
Yes, as quoted above it's about £3.5 million at today's rate. I'd be happy with that. Let's hope we hold out for proper money.
