    It's for Ben Wallace to lose I think. He's kept out of the dirt and is well thought of for his handling of Ukraine.

    Possibly* Wallace as he is bound to give the drinks industry a boost given the member bar consumption will rise (aaparently he holds the all-time record for the biggest bar tab in his regiments mess.:)

    He also appears adept at running up his parliamentary expense claims although there may be some validity in his justification that it is due to the size of his consituency.

    His background, education and military/political career, as well as his personal life generally seem devoid of controversy (unlike BoJo), aòthough heis voting record in parliament is a mixed bag and on many topics he seems to flip-flop.
    Past history prevents me from considering Penny Mordaunt since the last time we ended up with a female PM....well we know what happened then!!:eek:.

    Totally unfair and unreasonable on my part I know* as her voting record seems more consistent than Wallace. IMO the only two potentials best of a bad lot . Whatever it needs resolving soon as we can't have it dragging on until Autumn with Johnson still around. What a mess!!
