He has been honest and open about things he's been through. He was a good loanee for us. Hope he can get his career back on track somewhere.

He was absolutely brilliant in Leicester's title winning side, that move to Chelsea really seemed to be the start of him declining

Very refreshing and sounds like an honest lad.

Get him in. 12 month deal to sort himself out!

He had a decent season at Reading, unfortunately I think there will be a good few clubs from Champ and abroad looking at him - although I thought the same about Hourihane!

Coming back to us might help both him & us, he was a class act before & hopefully the lad turns it round .

I’d be interested to see how much he’s asking for. My guess is it’s no less than £15k a week.

I don't think so either, mate. But he did mention having a lot of money means nothing if you're happy, so perhaps he's just interesting in playing as many games as he possibly can

I suspect if that were genuinely the case, he would have a club by now. This ‘money doesn’t mean anything’ line that gets trotted out gets on my tits tbf. Let’s see what his next contract looks like.

While I strongly believe the pursuit of money doesn’t lead to contentment, i agree about it being annoying when a professional footballer at Chelsea casually throws it in there. It’s an easy thing to say when you have it, not so easy when you need it just to get by.
