    Not like a Wednesday fan to say something like that lol. Probably bitter as young Hirst got away from them for nothing when they had high hopes with him.
    It’d be great if we could sign him and him be a success just to annoy that lot over at S6. Can’t see it though….

    To be honest I think he is vastly overated and has been badly advised over moves,not really achieved anything despite the hype. Not sure he's what we need.

    I'd be in total agreement with you, had he not scored 13 goals for Portsmouth last season. He's still only 23, and I think he could probably build on that good season this year. We'd only ever be able to bring him in on loan, because I understand he's on an absolute mint at Leicester. But I think he's a gamble worth taking.

    Didn't score whilst on loan at Livingston last season, but got 7 in 12 in the Dutch 2nd tier the year before.

    Only a pre season friendly but slightly worrying that we can’t score against Crewe, who were a very poor L1 side last season. Think we all know that our attacking options need a deal of strengthening.
