    Not easy getting a couple of strikers in with no money, that’s the problem. Still think we’ll end up going down the loan route.

    i think that’s where we are as a club. Nearer bottom 6 than top 6. Without a goalscoring midfielder and 2 forwards we won’t trouble the top half.

    Assuming Helik is going there's not a lot of alternatives to that starting 11. Wolfe and Benson could replace Kane and Connell but I don't think they bring anything different. We've a couple of alternatives in the back 3 too, but again they're just alternatives rather than something different. Williams can play a few different roles and he may have to as I believe Styles will go.

    I guess a player who might offer something different who isn't in that squad is Oduor, but, although he's skillful, I don't think his all round game is good enough.

    Maybe Aitchison can provide a goal threat.

    We look solid enough, on paper at least, but lacking flair. Then there's the forward line.

    I think you could make a case for either of them to get a few goals in this division if they were at the side of a stronger player who is willing to work. But played together, it looks the weakest forward line since we started the season with Foreman and Chandler up front.
