Eh up pal ! Nice to hear from you . I'm sure it's not my first post though .
Anyhow, I saw the documentary and it's just a rehash of past stories . Nothing new really ! Eye for a eye I say .

I guess you also think the 7/7/2005 bombings in London were fair game then?

Why not? We kill their civilians, they kill ours. Eye for an eye and all that.

I suppose when the Taliban do the things they have done to the innocent women and children a eye for a eye scenario maybe looked more favourably by our special forces. Who are the bbc to say what's right or wrong . They only let their top entertainers rape young children while they turned a blind eye !

Slightly different . The people in the bus that we're murdered were not Taliban were they

That's ballax. Panorama investigated both incidents, and both were aired.
Lots of stuff a blind eye is turned. Probably one the biggest scandals are the child sex abuse cases. (Investigated and aired. Telford will be on the agenda) Hopefully these investigations make it less likely for these events to occur.

    Episode 10
    Panorama: Season 21, Episode 13
    Main results
    Description

A special programme investigating the Jimmy Savile abuse scandal and how aware the BBC were.

I believe you are ex forces. If you agree with the murder. ( of innocent civilians if true.) Shame on you. These actions if proven are not a consequence of war. I assume you watched it. And the confessions of Aussie and British Soldiers. Bear witness.

I'm quite proud of our armed forces. Maybe that is a pride that is misplaced. After a couple of nights out with my ex's brother in law and his mates who were all in the Scots Guards I'd have to conclude that there's a strong element of absolute pillocks amongst the ranks. That being said, like the police it's the sort of job that does attract more than its fair share.
Nevertheless I'm proud of what they've done in times past and more recently. That goes massively hand in hand with an expectation that they act with integrity, compassion where possible, decency and within international law.
If that is undermined by rotten eggs then they undermine everything they're supposed to be fighting for and lose all right to support from the public.
Idiots willing to give them a free pass to fall below the standards expected are just that and if those people are ex or current forces personnel then you start to seriously doubt your faith in them.

Brilliantly put. (And a reason I wanted to contribute to the damaged Barnsley pals monument for repair) The comment ' Does it really matter, Not in my eyes' is not something any right thinking person would accept. (And the main bone of contention). If the allegations are true.
    Seems we've a few that don't agree.o_O

How many civilians do you think our forces had killed in the middle east by 2005? It's a lot more than 56.

‘Real Britain with Darren Grimes’, on GB News? I’ll watch it later out of interest/comedy, but without even clicking a link I can hazard a guess where this video is heading…
