I like that the councils Barnsley weekend ties into the football clubs open day, it’s marked as one of the events on their website and the club made reference to the town event on theirs. Good to see club and town working together again

It was said by Nareev that the board wanted closer links to the council given they own half the stadium. Would be happy to see a partnership form. Where they combine activities. Would love to see concerts for example down at oakwell.

Or, given that Sheffield City Ladies have pulled out of this afternoon’s match, what about Barnsley Ladies vs BMBC XI ?

Been myself, absolutely brilliant. Well organised, great atmosphere and brilliant music. Walked up to Oakwell after for the open day. What a shambles, chalk and cheese. Whoever organised that wants a bollocking for it. A bouncy castle, hook a bag and a trampoline does not constitute a fair.
