They could have a Red Arrows display and the Cirque du Soleil in car park and you two would be moaning...
Well three kids I met on my walk up with their arms full of cuddly toys would have disagreed with you. A lovely sunny day, loads going off in Barnsley including Oakwell, definitely glass half full for me today! Quite a few paying on the gate too.
Apart from our super secret owners replacing their mouthpiece nothing has changed. If anything things appear to have got worse.
Not sure what the walkout music is but scoreboard is working, so a definite improvement on this time last year!
RH - lovely post - yes, loads going off in Barnsley - Pride was brilliant - something there for all the family.
We have all these fan forum meetings get told things will change and then never do. Why I take no notice of em anymore.
This is the problem with Barnsley FC. Too many willing to accept their lot. No desire to improve at anything, full of excuses and blaming everyone else but taking responsibility. Who's accountable for this?
I would hope people would be taking plenty of water with them before the match. I did last time i went to Oakwell. And i wouldn't dream of buying a bottle in the ground, much cheaper at the shop. Or fill up at home and take a water bottle with you. As for food, just eat before or after. I think the last time i ate in the ground was when i used to watch the reserves circa 2002. And i only bought a pie because only the west stand was open and there'd hardly be any queue. It's 2 hours in a day, people should be able to survive without food. As for water, take some responsibility and take it with you.
