Credit to those getting up to pay £43 for a 6 am start. How much are pubs charging? Club always charges way more for a coach ticket.

Cheap at the price - If I go on the train from Farnham its £111 but I can get away with an 8am start and get back just before midnight
Wouldnt be any cheaper to drive though considerably faster, if it wasnt a Saturday in August
Any other Month I would probably go but most likely to give this one a miss due to it being peak holiday season and not really suitable to a day trip

It's not a Saturday in August. Has everyone's brain melted in the sun?

Proof reading required, the 30th is a Saturday not Wednesday!
Too busy to go unfortunately, but I enjoyed my last trip when they were relegated.

Good value that. I've never understood why the club overcharge on coach travel compared to pubs.

Well the club have to hire coaches in for a start. Then there and back in the day requires 2 drivers I think to keep within driving hours regulations. Probably a superior standard of coach?!? But at 50% ISH more is a bit of a hike to say the least.

Hey is our very own Newsbot related to Kryten from the Dwarf ? lol.

I was on holiday in Torquay about 20 years ago, and we had a day trip to Plymouth. And apart from looking round the harbour, it just felt like a day out in Leeds with some noisy seagulls thrown in.
