My great uncle Jim sadly passed away aged 81 recently and we laid him to rest today at Silkstone Church.

He was a lifelong Barnsley fan who’s sat in the West Upper for a long time. It’s almost fitting that his last season was one of our worst, cos he’d have only moaned even if it was a good one!

    RIP Uncle Jim.

He looks very familiar. We sat in Block E, Row D of the West Upper for many years, pretty much level with the Ponty End penalty box Did he used to go with his wife and kids?
