Break ups are never easy. I echo the getting out in fresh air for a walk/ cycle. And when I'm down I always have the mantra doing something , however small is better than nothing. Been at work today, and then watched my son play football. Looking forward to watching us play the blunts tomorrow and the cricket on Sunday ( please don't rain!)
It was near Langold. It was 100% a grass snake, doubt it was a pet. Seen a fair few over the last few weeks as there is a big lake at Langold and they are often around there.
Missed this post mate, If at all possible get yourself out & about. Take a good long walk into somewhere that takes you back to nature, somewhere away from the Hussle & bustle. It does me the world of good, good exercise & calming to see all different species, be it flora or fauna. It gives you time to reflect & open yourself to new experiences. Take care owd warrior.
The one I saw that made me run away like a wimp was a fair bit bigger than that. However I am petrified of snakes so I'd probably run away from that one too
I went through the same 5 years ago - I had a bit of a meltdown but pulled myself together and how I’m right. Very right. Took some graft though. I’ll not go into details on here, but DM me if you want any advice. Work your way through it in stages and you’ll be fine. When you get to the other side you will be fine. I promise.
Unfortunately he was an American who adopted Barnsley as his UK club so its doubtful that anyone knew him personally. Don't know if @Loko the Tyke contacted him via email or not but the fact he stopped posting immediately after the original post suggests that not all is well. Sincerely hope I'm wrong.
I’ll try a personal message to him but other than that, it’s difficult knowing what to do ! Hope it’s a good response
Best advice I've ever had given about break ups and I should know I've experienced plenty...cry yourself a river, then build a bridge and get over it as quick as you can.... Glad I'm not bi sexual ...I couldn't do with the fellas rejecting me as well.... lol
Suffered with mental health and anxiety for a number of years . Got to the point where I considered giving up . Told a mate how I was I felt better instantly . You've done the hard bit . Message me if you need to chat
