Dane Scarlett has scored once every 303 minutes in the Premier League 2 against other u23s.

If it was Liam Delap or Ellis Sims I’d think maybe we’d signed the wrong player but Norwood is proven at this level. As well as two levels below.

 

But the goals aren't representative of anything. playing in the and I've checked the Isthmian League SOUTH firstly must be a pay-to-play league. Second of all a youtube team in the area, I think plays at a higher level.

The goals and appearances represent his goalscoring abilities in the football league. I'm not too interested in his month's loan in the Ismael league, but evidently he can score at that level too. His stats show he is a proven goalscorer. Will Scarlett hasn't scored any, he is unproven. Perhaps he will do well. Marc's pointing out of Norwood's league stats in relation to Scarlett's non-existent stats provides the context. My response was in relation to that. Your post is like saying, we've signed this player, Norwood, who I'm going to call 'Nogood' from day one. I'm not going to get behind him before he's kicked a ball for us, I'm going to slate him at every opportunity. As Roy Keane would say, nonsense!
