Around about tenth for me & look to progress the following season, but some good home performances with a fair amount of goals just to make match days by & large enjoyable & I will be happy, unlike others I would not see that as failure , promotion is great but it is not the be all and end all to me, I just want to be entertained on a saturday afternoon.

The aim should be top 6 I can't imagine Duff has uprooted to come here and aim for mid table obscurity. The hard thing to predict is how Cole, Benson, Kane, (Iseka and Thomas if still here) perform, if a few of these players can come good along with Mads, Collins and the new signings with hopefully a few more to follow I don't see why we should be scared of league 1 and a top 6 challenge should be realistic.

We'll absolutely walk this alehouse league, blowing all away and promoted by end of Feb, Champions in March. Unplayable, uncatchable, L1 unbeatables. And Weds relegated.

    Or we'll finish 14th.

I'll stick with my usual prediction of somewhere between 1st and 24th. It's been reasonably accurate for a good few seasons now, so I don't want to trip myself up by going with something else.

It’s a tough one as I’ve not seen any of the new players.

Given what I’ve seen of the players who were already here & assessing the fitness & experience of the whole squad I’m not very hopeful.

I’m thinking lower mid-table. I’ve just got no faith in Benson, Cole, Iseka, Norwood, J. Williams, Kane, Wolfe to compete twice a week through a combination of fitness & effort.

I think we’re weak up top, don’t have a right wing back & look lightweight in midfield.

A few have praised Connell & hopefully he’s a success but it’s a big ask for him to produce consistently over a full season when he’s never done it before.

And I’m someone who’s hopeful about Duff but I think it’s a long term job for whoever’s in charge. I don’t think any manager could come in & get this lot challenging for promotion in their first season.

    4th - 8th

Slow start until Duff gets the squad he wants.
He has said two strikers and a full back.
Think we will need a replacement for styles too.
Hopefully use the money from his and Helik's sales to give the Gaffer what he needs.
I am hopeful Connell and Benson crack the middle of the park.
Be interesting to see who out of the old guard puts a shift in, be nice to be surprised by a few who are being written off currently.
If they don't I can't see them lasting under Duff.

I’ve no idea. Been spectacularly wrong the last 2 seasons. Far too pessimistic 2 years ago and far too optimistic last season. Also hard to really know until end of the window. Gut feel is lower mid table let’s say 14th but could be out by quite a few places. Don’t think we will make the playoffs or be in the bottom 4 but reserve the right to change my mind in a few weeks

I reckon around mid table or just below as it stands right now. Hopefully will improve squad in August. However a slow start and it could be a long frustrating season.

After a slow start to the campaign, I think we'll recover and finish about 8th. I hope we win promotion, but this Summer seems more similar to 2014 than 2018 with regards to squad rebuilding.

I think we'll play a back 5 and be difficult to beat, particularly away from home. That system needs two good wing backs to transition to an attacking formation and it looks like the two we had will both be sold. I can see some frustrating home games, where we'll struggle to score.

well we had plenty of practice at that last season - I might be wrong as I havent checked but I think last season was the fewest home goals we scored in a season since I started watching us over 50 years ago

And we've sold the best two strikers. Maybe we'll get goals from set pieces. Should be better when Norwood and Cadden are fit.

I always think playing a back 5 is okay on paper, but is too defensive when you need to score a goal at home.

14th, a slow, boring grind of a season but we aren't equipped for much more at this point.

I predict we'll sell at least a couple of players in the final week of the transfer window and not have the time/resources to replace them.

I think expecting or even demanding a promotion push, is unfair and totally unrealistic.
The club have been through a lot and we're going to have to settle down a bit first, both on and off the pitch.
Im guessing there will be a lot of frustrating games and too many draws, but we should be safe from any relegation struggle at least.
Mid table, about 11th will be a stable season for me, and we can hopefully build on that. :)

We wont concede many and we will score enough.

We will walk this league. Duff has some good players that will perform well this season.

Anderson, Cundy, Williams, Connell, Benson, Aitchison pxss it.
