If ever there was a post from him to say I'm back to full WUM mode, it's the one that's defending Mido's time at the club.
I was referring to red and old in the face. He never did. Also the weight from listening to others who he played with Mido. It wouldn't have been a problem if he hadn't of injured himself at Keepmoat. Look at some of the photos of him at Middlesbrough. He looked great at times having come back from summer worse.
Mido only 'played' 27 minutes of first team football for us and the only thing missing from that photo is the massive white puffs of air he was literally blowing out of every orifice after 27 seconds.
I honestly thought we'd never see his like again. But then Conway finally got his man, Oulare, at the second time of asking.
You do realise that Mido left Middlesbrough in 2010 and then came to us in 2012. In that intervening time he went on a food binge and was about as much use as Giant Haystacks would have been up front for us.
I know someone well that plays semi-pro football and has been around levels 9-11 for a few years (won the FA Vase last year). He's always been paid a bit of money to play, with some half decent bonuses; it's NOT pay to play. Talking perhaps £100/week or something as a rough figure from what he's told me. For context, the Isthmian League is level 7-8.
Jim O’Brien said he couldn’t understand why Mido was overweight as he was training hard but then saw the state of his car. Fast food wrappers all over it even well into the season
I might be thick skinned But I find your presence sickening Get along get along get out Get along get along get out of here
What evidence have you got that makes you think Scarlett would be the better choice? How many games have you watched him play? What are his strengths? What makes you think he could instantly hit the ground running in a league where he would be up against seasoned pro's, not kids his own age?
