Joe Joyce 334 Clive Baker 291 Paul Futcher 230 Gwyn Thomas 201 Neil Redfearn 292 Nicky Eaden 293 Martin Bullock 185 Stephen Foster 226 Woodrow got 131 All numbers from Wikipedia.
Thinking about it, had Bobby been registered last year then he quite possibly could have made his 300th appearance and possibly more
I tend to take wiki data with liberal doses of salt. I'm pretty sure it was 198 and not more than that.
Some of those numbers look way out. Maybe just league games or starts maybe? Joyce was 388 ish, redders was over 300, as was Baker. Futcher was 260's and Bullock was over 200 (though about half were sub appearances).
The most for a keeper must be Harry Hough. I met him a few years ago in Filey GC and seem to recall he claimed over 300
Surprised Phil Chambers hasn't had a mention. Over 400 games I believe. Part of what many of us think to be our best ever team.
Similar Antony Kay only got 199. Flicker fell out with him about ten before the end of the season so he didn't make 200 games. Proper shame.
****.. I'm guessing that I've made more appearances that Phil gridlet. Actually I've just (roughly) worked out in my 35 years watching the reds, and being a st holder for just 4. I've made around 450 .. probably more... So I'm almost up there with the best
I'm certain Kay left long before Flicker got here? Don't recall Kay playing under Davey much. I'm all in favour of letting Bobby get his 300th appearance, if only to see the meltdown on here from one particular poster.
Kay left us and signed for Tranmere at the end of the 2006-07 season. That was Davey's first season in charge. Flicker took over from Hill in December 2012 - 5 and half years later. He wasn't on 199 games either. And he wasn't dropped with 10 games to go. He missed the last game of the season, a 7-0 drubbing at WBA, but he was a regular starter up to and including the penultimate game against Leicester.
