Managers first match, new players and some on here are putting the boot in already. Not a happy clapper type post, just be fair and give give poor the buggers a chance though eh!??
Fair enough, personally from what I've seen of Cole he's a waste of a shirt but unfortunately the manager has still to find out for himself
Of coure they need time, after all we knew the squad was way off weeks ago. But people need to set their expectations. I think most dont see this season as being a competitive one for playoffs.
Fecking Rotherham romped it last season with a poor relegated team, but I need to set expectations? We really have been shat on so bad that we believe we can’t be competitive…? What we need to do is sell up to balance some more books. Ffs, maybe we’ll find our level in league 2 or beyond where we can compete financially….
Yep. We didn't renew as we didn't think the club would meet expectations. On and off the field. I always fear a poor start puts you on the back foot and playing catch up is hard. Kinda vilifies the decision not to renew. We played pretty much as i expected but to be honest i thought (hoped) we would be tighter at that back. Based on today we seem further off it than i expected.
It's not the fact that we lost that is annoying it's how we lost. Half the team didn't look interested We was slow moving the ball from the back, when we did move forward the passes were over hit. We could have played till next Saturday and not have scored. Has long as the board make there money back they don't give a ****, we are like the titanic.
the new guard said they would put on field performance first. Its clear this is only when they have moved players on and topped up the budget. Based on today we are nearer the bottom than top. We have a lot to do.
We have a lightweight midfield and nothing uptop duff has took on a very tough job. Total rebuild and callum styles bury baggio rather have harry styles playing is he sulking and wants a move?
I don't think any of us set our expectations too high for this season but i have to say i didn't expect that' a complete lack of cohesion and organisation all over the pitch' Kitching trying to be the very poor mans Maldini' i genuinely thought that the one thing that Duff would have done by the start of the season is to implement some organisation and make us difficult to break down but it was men against boys ' its only the first game of course and he may well get it sorted but he certainly needs to..
