I expected a narrow loss today with the odd sprinklings of positives. Unfortunately we are still carrying a bunch of losers. These being Styles, Helik, Kitching, Cole, Benson etc. The sooner we get these players out of the club the better. When you have a torrid season like last season, sometimes the players involved are too far gone at that particular club. Moving on to new challenges is just best for all parties. We need the cash to recruit in key areas, mainly up front. There’s a whole month left, let’s see what happens.
Getting rid of our best players won't end well, they need encouragement & man managing, this is where the great managers excel.
Unfortunately most of our players that moved on were the tryers especially Morris and Woodrow . Problem is the players that imo downed tools are still here and I fear could infect the new lads with their attitudes . Duff has decisions to make but unfortunately at this stage hadn’t much room for manoeuvre regards changes . I just hope the board can see what is happening and give him the tools to counteract this what I think is an insurgence and give him genuine options to stop or at least dilute it .
Thats what i said about Brittain other week' the lad obviously didn't want to be here so good move all round...
Cole is our worst striker since Odejayi and one of our worst in living memory. Still surprised we didn't pay him off over the summer - I don't see us ever getting a fee for him.
Tbh. At least Odejayi caused teams a problem physically, Cole doesn’t cause any problems full stop. Eating out on his fathers name, wouldn’t be a pro footballer still if it wasn’t for that.
Wouldn't have ever been given the opportunity to join an academy in the first place if people weren't persuaded by daddies name
If I'm honest I did feel kind of bad naming Odejayi - largely because he was in the right place at the right time against Chelsea. However, the miss at Wembley and his goals to games ratio kind of made him necessary to name. I would rather give a youngster a game and tell them to learn their trade than play Cole. I'm not even sure what his role is supposed to be. His pressing game is mostly headless chicken running around, he's no target man, he's not a clinical poacher and he's never going to beat three men on the dribble to score. Waste of a shirt.
To be fair to him he was at Man City for 11 yrs in their youth set up I don’t think they owe his Dad anything .
Cole is one of those strikers that will never set the world alight. Much like victor, who we just let go . Up front we are as weak as we have ever been. We have not had any striker that as made an impact in games as much as Moore did .
Just goes to show how garbage Scottish Premier is. Cole and Kane Hemmings knocked goals in for fun up there. F'kall down here.
