So after a rebuild we lost the first game and the doom n gloom merchants have the
knIves out already.... Be realistic. Give
M Duff, the training staff and the players a bit of time please. Things will come good I feel once the team gel and with a couple of additions before the window closes.

The thing is fella , we have heard this all before. shlopp then poya and it will be the same with Duff . We had a chance to get warnock in early this year . The club would not be on the state it is in now . Get ready next week, because on todays performance, I can see Cheltenham doing us . It’s what we do is it not ?

We are where we are, for good reason. Difficult task going down there against a strong side in this division last year.
Apart from warnock being an absolute dinosaur and under investigation for taking payments from players for bonus payments etc

Warnock as more football nouse and experience than any of the last 10 coaches . We now have e people running our club who have no experience of running a club. This lady from Australia , what does she know about English football ?
The club is been owned/ run into the ground!

I agree entirely about the running of the club. Duff is a brilliant choice. You can only piss with the ***** you’ve got though….imagine warnocks demands. Plus I can’t be doing with seeing paddy Kenny in the net

I agree that the club has been run down by the recent board but I am not sure Warnock would have done any better this season. I think we all thought that we would repeat the Stendel season but it is still very early days. Give it 10 games then see how it is going. Perhaps the disaster of last season has sapped all the confidence in the club. But I think Duff is the man to turn it round given time.

Warnock was never going to come to us , he was being interviewed by a Barnsley journalist and enjoys nothing more than making mischief, he was already well and truly retired having booked a speaking tour

Perhaps she could run a barbie in the fanzone before home games.

Thing is most owners of football clubs know very little about football, that's why it's usually left with a very capable CEO....... This is where the big problem is at Oakwell..... '99% autonomy'. No hiding this season, no Conway in sight.

I mostly agree, but I wanted to see... something? What I saw today just felt like a masterclass straight out of last season, but against worse opposition and with no strikers.

All I want is to see us match the opposing team for graft. If we're not good enough then so be it - I can fully live with that, and have for most of the time I've been a fan. But at times it felt like we were strolling.

I don't think its the fact that we lost that has people worried but the way we played' no structure or organisation and players looking disinterested' this was the first game of the season and the players should have been bang up for it but some clearly weren't' thats very worrying going forward...

Yesterdays performance was no different to poyas or shlopps games. A serous lack of effort, players looking lost and not doing the basics and still pointing at each other !
The only two players that can come out with some credit was Collins again and Williams .
