Wonder what it sounded like. I'm imagining angels in the architecture spinning in infinity signing amen and hallelujah.
I'm a bit late to the party this morning, but are we signing a player for the U23 squad whose career would possibly better served by playing in his parent clubs U23 squad? Thus limiting the chances of one of our own U23's playing in the BFC U23 squad? Or have I missed something?
With the amount of players city have, I bet he doesn't get anywhere near their own under 23 squad. So let's farm him out to someone else's.
Lol You have made me go back and read the original post now. Which I deliberately skimmed past. This sound thingy now makes sense
Yes, I saw the kicking sound. On a par with the "they used to kick it very hard to each other in warmup" from years gone by. FWIW one of the last outdoor games I played, I caught a volley so sweet it barely made a ping. It was a lovely sound. Never struck owt sweeter, and I broke the keepers wrist with it. True story. And I'm bigger than Mido.
Unless it's changed for this season I think you are allowed up to 8 loans of which 5 can be in a matchday squad.
Aside from Mido and Andy Mac - who do we think made the 'best kicking noise'? I'm going for Redders - any of those rockets he used to unleash were far superior to Mido's miskicks
What im interesting in is if we are signing a player that strengthens our first team starting line up. The age, past history and track record isnt important but does reduce the risk on whether this objective will be achieved i guess. when the team looks 3-4 quality players short we have a lot of work still to do this next 3-4 weeks.
We’re signing a player. The coach has used the word development, and now everybody is assuming he won’t play in our first team.
Last week we tried to sign someone who is crocked but they failed their medical. This week was a bit better as we've signed someone who is fit but not good enough for the first team. I reckon next week we should go all out and try to sign someone who will make the bench if we get a couple of injuries or suspensions.
