It’s been there for decades for me. The old season is gone; new one underway. I’ve enjoyed watching “Yorkshire” win at Old Trafford in The Hundred. Fast forwarded the Premier League tedium from last night. Coffee time now and relax before hitting the A1 in an hour or so. I’m hoping for a good win in front of a decent crowd. More 4-0 Oxford than 0-1 Crawley.
Oakwell is looking glorious in the sunshine. Not a fan of the heavy breeze though. Already had to chase empty boxes around the East Stand Car Park.
Same here. Just turning up and seeing the pitch in pristine condition gives me a nice warm feeling. You Reds!
I'm thinking a sneaky 1-0 win. 0-0 at half timed, booed off without having a shot on target, booed back on for the second half. Win with a deflected goal in the 5th minute of injury time and the BBS in meltdown come 5 o' clock.
How did the flag look? going over early to uncover it because this moderate breeze sometimes plays havoc with it as the bungee cords holding it down are in a bit of a sorry state.
Didn’t notice to be honest mate. Just took a sneak peak at the pitch when reversing the bar out of the concourse. I can go have a look once finished setting up if you want?
Cheers pal, I did get some but they didn't fit in the eyes of the flag but they did fit the tarpaulin so I'll see what the situation is today. I can buy some more suitable ones if need be but thank you.
