Is needed every game it can safely be applied ,obviously dont want a 1000 Wednesday fans in home end,but games like cheltenham yes, nice sunny day,you think fancy going to game and off you trot ,hope BFC have plenty more pay on the day games
I know what the attendance was, the question was how many of those bought their ticket on the day. I’ve only had a season ticket once, but I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve paid ‘on the gate’, because generally we plan ahead which games were attending. And historically buying on the turnstiles meant getting v poor seats, where there are better empty seats available.
I was on a ticket only turnstile, bloke next to me was on cash. I let a good couple of hundred in, he only let about 10 in. Anecdotal like
3 of us paid on the gate. I would have paid online but couldn’t get through the system on Friday night. After having to search and search for the tickets online, (website absolutely determined that the only tickets I wanted to buy were bus tickets or Derby tickets), the system kept crashing.
How much was it for kids on the gate yesterday? Some bloke on FB conplaining he had to pay £18 for an under 5 ?
£18 from the turnstile or £5 from the box office. The only tickets on sale on the turnstiles are adult (£22) or concession £18. The other tickets of under 14s and under 19s are only available in advance from the box office or online
Yes but it also says that it isn't available on the turnstile and must be bought in advance from the box office or online.
Disgrace that maybe you might get a few 19 plus getting in cheaper but you can see if a kid is a kid ,should be a 5er
I suspect it's more that they don't trust turnstile operators not to charge people £18 and put it through as a fiver ticket or something like that
It was possible to just walk round to the box office and buy a child’s ticket for a fiver and make sure you got a seat next to them.
