Seats and steps in the family stand covered in bird crap. The club has had weeks to prepare for this fixture. The stand must have been checked. Presumably someone thinks it’s acceptable?

On a serious note, it really doesn't take much to atleast check, does it?
Its the little things what people are understandably annoyed at. Hopefully it'll improve week by week..

Aside from the health hazard, the most annoying thing is that the stadium presumably has to be checked for safety pre match. So staff will have seen the state of the seats and thought it didn’t matter. Just appalling. Welcome to Oakwell. Judge us by our actions.

The girders and whatnot above seating areas need fitting with anti-pigeon prongs - the kind of thing you see on some buildings at the seaside and elsewhere. No pigeons = no mess.

This potentially serious health hazard. Not being over dramatic but.....
Breathing dust or water droplets containing contaminated bird droppings.Even when old and dry, bird droppings can be a significant source of infection. Like histoplasmosis, most cryptococcosis infections are mild and may be without symptoms. Persons with weakened immune systems, however, are more susceptible to infection.
Casually brushing or rubbing dried on bird c*ap from your seat could, after all this dry hot weather possibly give rise to dust particles being inhaled.

    BFC take note..get it sorted!!

I'm struggling to decide whether this is a serious post or not. Surely the club is 100% responsible for making sure that the stadium is in an acceptable state before each home game?

I paid £22 for a seat. I expect it at least to be hygienic. I don’t expect to do cleaning when I’ve paid.

It might be because I'm old school. Back in my day, when my mates were YTS lads that would have been their job. Terry Nutkins favva would have them sweeping every step, cleaning every seat, litter picking to learn discipline and work ethic. All on £35 a week. It's skipped a generation. It really has in the majority of folk. Sad but true.
