    I just think if she got involved it would get really messy (as if it couldn't get any worse). The Hexers would no doubt pile on her, the reds fans would back JAQ. Khaled would be tearing his hair out, and the new sponsor would be in conflict with our board member. The comms team wouldn't know what to put out and we would look like a joke. I really hope we manage to cancel the deal.

    I must say, I was expecting a far worse reaction on twitter. only 30 odd replies, and just a couple of hexican responses to the club tweet. I was expecting an avalanche from them. I guess they haven't got the memo...yet

    Precisely nothing, because presumably no-one will admit to being owners of Hex and therefore, no-one will have locus standi.

    Separately, is there any wonder these sponsors could not be announced before the first league game? And how will shirt buyers who have asked for the logo to be added be compensated when we (inevitably) shortly part company with this entity?

    They probably haven't realised it's about them. Like everyone else on the outside looking in they probably think Barnsley fans are being homophobic as that's what the club have released a statement implying

    yeah a couple have picked it up though. was expecting it to ripple through their community like wildfire, as soon as one or two got hold of it. fingers crossed it stays that way

    Presumably, given Boro's colours, we're scheduled to play in the ghastly 80s Asda reversible black tyre track pattern duvet cover things tomorrow. Surely the oversized orange and purple hexagon monstrosity ironed on to those would ensure the resultant clinically toxic eyesore could be legally impounded as a crime against both taste and humanity?

    I did a mock up of it on photoshop to post on here but decided against it on the grounds that everyone had already suffered enough and there's a chance that it will never see the light of day.

    can't imagine she'll do that. however I do imagine she's probably been in contact with her various other endeavours, to make them aware of what's going on. I wonder how kid super is feeling about working with us, right now?

    If no one is admitting to owning them. Then how on earth have they managed to sponsor us?

    Someone must have turned up to negotiate/broker the deal, surely. Unless it was all done by email or smoke signals. Which would about sum the club up to be fair.
