I thought a suspension is relating to the competition it was in. Unless it's a blanking ban (ie doping etc)
You say that, but it wouldn't be the first time we've put an u23s player in a cup squad the day after they've played. I'm pretty sure Jacob Brown did that. That being said, Jalo also played for the u18's on Monday. So I think 3 games in 3 days is probably a stretch.
If a player got sent off in the FA cup his suspension stops him playing in the league so i do not think it is related to the competition it was in .
Unless it's to do with 1st team and u/23 I said it as I have litterally had something like it in (wait for it) football manager. I've either come across a bug or I've not quite lined up the proper rules, but something exists where it doesn't roll over to different competitions..... Erm. Need to wait till tomorrow now to check what that's was
He needs to be in the first team fold. Use em' or lose em'. He'll have hangers on saying he should be playing etc and before you know it he's at Everton with us receiving a tribunal fee.
I think if a player gets sent off in an international then his suspension is for international games but does not affect his club matches , maybe that is what you are thinking of .
No, cos I'm league one. I had a player sent off and 4 match ban, increased to 6. He could play in the u/23s. I've also had a player sent off in one competition (which is what I'm missing) and he could play league games though... So need to check that one. Unless of course I've completely dreamt it. I'll find out tomorrow, cos I might be able to have an hour before match tomorrow night
Fairly certain if you get suspended in the league it rules you out for the FA Cup. I don't think it does the league cup though
From what I’ve seen of him (admittedly not a huge amount, but a bit) he at least looks good enough to be on the bench. He definitely looks physically strong enough.
Don’t know about U23/1st team but cards only count in competition received since start of 2019 Season.
