Anyone know anyone that repairs or regasses fridges? Can they be regassed? Think mines wanting it as it wont get cooler than 11/12. Freezer part is fine though. Tried replacing board to no avail and doesn't seem to be a stat in the fridge. Shame to junk the lot if it can be repaired.

It's very unlikely to need regassing. Have you checked the coils? They may need cleaning. The door seal may be faulty, check that it is still sealing properly when you close the door.

Mine has a switch inside Fridge that you have to press if the temp outside gets too hot?

AFAIK domestic fridges don't usually have a point for regassing.
I used to have a mate in the trade...daft as this sounds (if you can get someone to look after the freezer stuff) try switching it off and turning it upside down overnight...apparently sometimes they just need stirring up a bit internally, I tried it on mine and it carried on working for a few years.

cheers guys - checked the seals, coils, even defrosted and restarted to give it a reset but it is frost free.... didn't try turning it upside down though - that's a new one! :D

Also, I wouldn't be me if I didn't suggest this, can't believe I didn't say it first to be honest... have you tested the compressor and the thermostat with a multimeter?

Interesting point......I work for UNICEF and during the Covid vaccine rollout we were faced with the problem that vaccines needed to be urgently flown ( usually shipped ) to their destination but needed to be refrigerated. Airlines dont like to fly fridges so the solution was to get them onboard, degas them and then regas at the other end......quite an achievement.
