I was, earlier today. Steady 6.5 mile cliff top stroll from Whitby. Rehydrating now at one of Whitby’s many fine establishments
Did that walk - RHB to Whitby a few weeks ago. Tougher than expected, but when we got to Whitby lighthouse we had an amazing display by some dolphins. Made my day.
No word of a lie, the last time I made that walk I slipped on a cow pat and then fell in the rest of the herds $hite and had it all down my left hand side: head to toe. Needless to say, I had to purchase a new set of clothes in Whitby
Yes, a few up and downs and it got to the stage where I was desperate for the view after the next headland was the one overlooking RHB (especially in the 20 odd degree heat), but well worth the effort.
Heading to Bridlington for a weekend break tomorrow. Just me, the wife, daughter and two dogs. We've got a little chalet/cottage booked and I'm so looking forward to it. A break from work, some sunshine, nice walks and a couple of beers. Enjoy life while you can guys.
Problem with RHB is walking back up that bloody hill to the car park at the top, nearly kills me but maybe that's because am a fat unfit 55 year old bloke
Sadly no. We set off back home at 1pm, just got home in time to see that we're losing 2-0. Happy days.
